"Within the framework of the visit, Alexei Overchuk was received by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, with whom he discussed issues of strengthening bilateral trade and economic cooperation, including cooperation in transport, agriculture and other spheres," the document said. - "In order to develop economic ties, issues of organizing Russian business missions to the Republic of Azerbaijan were discussed. In addition, the parties considered prospects for the development of the international North-South transport corridor and improvement of the work of border checkpoints on the Russian-Azerbaijani border.
