Qatar signed more than 65 agreements at SPIEF

Qatar signed more than 65 agreements with Russia in various sectors at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF). This was announced on Friday by Qatar's Trade and Industry Minister Ali bin Ahmed Al-Kuwari at the SPIEF session "Reset or Overload? Rethinking Multilateralism among the Ruins of Globalization: A Business Perspective".


"Qatar is the largest country represented in Russia in terms of investments - about $15 billion. We signed more than 65 agreements during the SPIEF, they concern various sectors - technology, finance, sports, infrastructure, agriculture. Trade relations between Qatar and Russia are developing. In 2020, our trade volume increased despite all the difficulties," said the Qatari minister.
