Russia and Kazakhstan agree on joint development of transport corridors

A package of documents was signed following the results of negotiations between the heads of the governments of Russia and Kazakhstan, Mikhail Mishustin and Askar Mamin.


In particular, a plan of joint actions on the development of road infrastructure of the international transport route Europe - Western China and the "Meridian" freeway for 2021-2030 was signed in the presence of the prime ministers.


The parties also signed a plan of joint actions on the development of road checkpoints across the Russian-Kazakh state border for the period up to 2021-2025.


In the presence of Mishustin and Mamin were also signed a memorandum of understanding between the Ministries of Energy of Russia and Kazakhstan on the development of production and marketing infrastructure for the use of natural gas as a motor fuel on the route Europe - Western China, a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between the Russian Export Center JSC and Center for Trade Policy Development QazTrade JSC, and a memorandum of understanding and cooperation between these Kazakhstani JSC and Internet Solutions LLC ("Ozon").
