Sales of package tours to Turkey for summer 2025 have increased by 2 to 2.5 times compared to 2024 in Russia, with no significant rise in vacation costs, according to the Russian Union of Travel Industry (RUTI).
“Tour operators and package tour aggregators report a 2-2.5-fold increase in sales of summer 2025 tours to Turkey compared to the same period in 2024. Despite fluctuations in the ruble-to-euro exchange rate, there has been no significant price surge in this destination—the average cost has risen by only about 5%,” the press release noted.
The tour operator Fun&Sun reported a 2.2-fold increase in demand for summer vacations in Turkey, with the destination accounting for 63% of total bookings. Intourist also noted a 2.5-fold growth in Turkey's popularity, while the aggregator Sletat.ru confirmed that bookings for summer 2025 tours to Turkey have nearly doubled year-on-year.
“Compared to last year, specific trends in Turkey include higher demand for May and June, strong momentum for September, and September sales rivaling those in July while surpassing August. This indicates a growing interest in off-peak travel when hotel pricing is more favorable, leading to lower average costs,” explained Olga Ivanova, Public Relations Director at Fun&Sun.
