Turkish Foreign Minister and Russian Ambassador to Ankara discuss cooperation in tourism

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu and Russian Ambassador to Turkey Alexei Yerkhov discussed the countries' cooperation in tourism on Monday.


"We held talks with Russian Ambassador Alexei Yerkhov. We discussed bilateral relations, regional issues and tourism cooperation," Cavusoglu said in a post posted on his Twitter page.


Russia restricted passenger flights with Turkey from April 15 to June 1 due to a new outbreak of coronavirus, the number of flights will be reduced to two per week on a reciprocal basis. On the Russian side, regular flights between the two countries will be operated by Aeroflot. Flights to Tanzania were also suspended.
