Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has arrived in Marrakech, Morocco, to attend a meeting of the Russian-Arab Cooperation Forum, according to a report from a TASS correspondent.
Lavrov's plane landed in the morning at Marrakech-Menara airport. The previous meeting of the forum took place in Moscow in April 2019, with subsequent plans for meetings being adjusted due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
Lavrov emphasized the significance of the forum, describing it as "an important mechanism of interaction" between Russia and Arab countries.
