Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will participate in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on May 24, according to the website of the Russian Cabinet.
"On May 24 in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin will take part in a meeting of the Council of Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States. This meeting will be held under the auspices of the Russian chairmanship in the Commonwealth in 2024," the statement read.
The meeting will address issues related to trade and economic cooperation within the CIS, including the expansion of cooperation in energy, transport infrastructure, industry, and other areas of mutual interest.
Additionally, the meeting is expected to result in the signing of several multilateral documents.
