Oleg Ozerov, Ambassador-at-Large of the Russian Foreign Ministry and Head of the Secretariat of the Russia-Africa Partnership Forum, has announced that Moscow is actively engaged in various initiatives aimed at preparing for the upcoming Russia-Africa summit.
"We are currently in the process of establishing a series of interim events through our secretariat to pave the way for the upcoming Russia-Africa summit," the diplomat mentioned during a session at the Russian Energy Week (REW).
He emphasized the current need to "take a significant step forward in order to identify the most viable projects under the current circumstances and to determine which of them are well-prepared for implementation."
The second Russia-Africa summit took place at the Expoforum in St. Petersburg from July 27 to 28, coinciding with an economic and humanitarian forum. The overarching theme, mirroring the previous summit, was "For Peace, Security and Development." These events were coordinated by the Roscongress Foundation.
