Tokayev and Putin Sign Statement and Action Plan for 2024-2026

President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev and Russian leader Vladimir Putin concluded their talks in Astana by signing a joint statement and a plan of joint actions for the years 2024-2026. The presidents also signed a joint statement commemorating the 10th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty on Good Neighborliness and Allience in the 21st century. Additionally, the energy ministries of both countries inked a memorandum of understanding on collaborating on combined heat and power plant projects in three Kazakh cities.

 

 

Moreover, the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of Kazakhstan signed an action plan to foster cooperation in the field of physical culture and sports for 2024-2026. An additional agreement was signed between the Federal Customs Service of the Russian Federation and the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of Kazakhstan outlining joint cooperation for 2024-2025. A memorandum of understanding and cooperation on labor inspection matters was signed by the Federal Service for Labor and Employment of the Russian Federation and the Labor Committee of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Kazakhstan.

 

Finally, the Russian news agency TASS and the media holding "Teleradiocomplex of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan" entered into an agreement on information partnership, focusing on the development and strengthening of mutually beneficial cooperation in the information sector.
