On August 6-7, 2020, an online conference of the International summer school "Bolgar dialogue of cultures - 2020" on the theme "Youth volunteer movement: the experience of Russia and the Islamic world" will be held within the framework of the events of the Group of strategic vision "Russia – Islamic world". The event is organized by the Foundation for Strategic Dialogue and Partnership with the Islamic world and the Bulgarian Islamic Academy with the support of the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. The event will take place during the first stage of work of the "Rosmolodezh" Project office for international youth cooperation "Russia – the OIC". The project partner is the Academy of Youth Diplomacy, Kazan.
Using the Internet platform for the conference will expand the project's geography and strengthen the dialogue between the youth of Russia and the countries of the Islamic world in the face of political turbulence in the world.
The project aims to create conditions for the development of relations between youth organizations and volunteer associations; exchange of practical experience of participants of the volunteer movement from Russian regions and foreign countries.
The forum program will include presentations by the leaders of major Russian and international organizations and agencies, including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Youth Forum of Islamic cooperation, the Fund for strategic dialogue and partnership with the Islamic world, and the Ministry of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan. Also, greetings to the participants will be addressed by representatives of the Association of volunteer centers and religious associations of the Russian Federation, such as the Religious Board of Muslims of Russian and Tatarstan, Kazan theological seminary, the Kazan Jewish community.
Organizers of volunteer projects and their participants from Lebanon ("Victory Volunteers" and "Young leader school"), Egypt (Ministry of Youth and Sports), Tunisia (Women's volunteer movement), and Syria will join the forum. The representative office of "Rossotrudnichestvo" in Lebanon and the representative office of the Russian Federation to the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah expressed interest in organizing master classes at the forum.
Representatives of Russian charitable foundations ("Solidarnost", "Dom dobroty", "Zakyat", Moscow), the ecological movement "Budet chisto" (Kazan), and representatives of the volunteer group "Delay dobrye dela" (Derbent) will share their practical experience of the volunteer movement in modern conditions.
Russian Instagram bloggers will demonstrate the availability of volunteer activity for civil society.
On the final day of the forum, the results of the video contest will be summed up, as well as the best projects of the presentation of the volunteer's personal brand will be demonstrated.
Participants of the international summer school "Bolgar dialogue of cultures-2020" will receive certificates of participation in the conference.
The best video materials of the contestants will be posted on the website of the Group of strategic vision "Russia-Islamic world".
Activists of the International summer school "Bolgar dialogue of cultures-2020" - "Youth volunteer movement: experience of Russia and the Islamic world" will participate in the international festival of youth of Russia and the Islamic world, scheduled for October 2020.
